A Letter to ONE&ALL

Sitting on the tarmac, waiting for the plane to ascend into the great blue yonder, turning left over Greece and then onto LA. With all its problems, LA is my home, the launching pad from which the Gospel is going out to the world. The people of ONE&ALL Church are wonderful. I am just one of many who have a passion for a fully devoted follower of Jesus in every home in the valley…..and beyond.

Now onto the matter at hand. We have been through a lot over the past few years. As I said from the beginning, this is not the first pandemic and it probably will not be the last. You and I have no need to fear. Our greatest enemy has already been defeated. Let us not become anxious, but through prayer and thanksgiving, make our request known to God. Philippians tells us that the peace of God will rule our hearts as a result. As Christians, we do not panic during a pandemic. We continue to live as we always have, with peace, wisdom, and compassion for our neighbors. Due to the politicizing of this pandemic, it may be difficult to ascertain what is true and what is manipulation. However, God’s immutable truth remains: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32).”

I am saddened by the harshness with which many Christ followers respond to those who disagree with them. Taking a firm stand on what we believe is important. Communicating our position in arrogance without love and empathy fails to imitate Jesus and ultimately accomplishes nothing. At ONE&ALL we have worked diligently to connect with God’s people in new and exciting ways. Through daily Podcasts, Devotionals, YouTube and other media outlets, we have managed to minister to more people in this season than ever before. For those who attend our services in person, we say, “Welcome! Come on in!” For those who are not yet comfortable with being around massive numbers of people we say, “We love you and miss you and hope to see you back really soon!”

In the mean time, we will minister to you in numerous ways and will never cease praying for you.

Finally, I want ONE&ALL to know the difference you have made in the lives of people who live in remote places who do not have access to high speed internet. Our radio program, “Today With Jeff Vines,” is reaching millions and is the only church service to which they have access. While in Turkey I was able to meet with the Director of Christian Broadcasting for all of Africa. By 2022, no Continent will remain untouched by the ministry of ONE&ALL Church, and more importantly, by the message of hope in Jesus Christ. So, as we now roll down the runway, I turn to my study once again. Looking forward to preaching live in the San Dimas campus in just a few days!!
