In Every Situation God's Timing is Always Perfect

Are you trusting in God for something that you feel He is taking forever to answer? Are you in the middle of a storm right now and feel that God is silent? Do you feel as if you are going under?

Hang in there sweetheart - God’s timing is beautiful and perfect.

I would like to introduce you to Hannah, a woman who faced an insurmountable problem of infertility that attracted scorn and grief from her co-wife, Peninah. Hannah was childless because, “the Lord has shut up her womb.” (1 Samuel 1:6 KJV). The Lord definitely had a plan, but He had not disclosed it to Hannah.

Years of Peninah's scorns to make Hannah miserable were hard to endure. Finally, Hannah emptied her soul to her God. The Bible records it in 1 Samuel 1:10 (KJV) that, “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.” We know how the story goes, the Lord answered Hannah’s prayer – He gave her Samuel; a prophet, a priest and a judge who would later establish kingship to the people of Israel.

Trusting in God's timing

You see, God’s plan in Hannah’s life was far greater than giving her a child. The people of Israel were going through a crucial time in the entire history of Israel, and God knew Samuel had to be born and raised by the right mother, at the right place, and at the right time - not sooner, not later. God’s timing was not influenced by anything and His answer to Hannah’s prayer was timely and perfect.

We all can relate to Hannah’s story in many ways in our lives. You may be longing for a child like Hannah or you know someone who is. You may find yourself in a dark season of waiting – for a breakthrough, for a healing, for restoration. God knows exactly what you are going through and He has a plan to answer your prayers.

In your journey of waiting, keep you hope alive and trust in His timing, God sees the bigger picture. It is the nature of God to test our faith in Him, to see if we do trust His timing. Many times, as His Word says, His ways are not our own, and His thoughts far different from ours. Be assured that God will never ignore your earnest prayer. In His own time, He makes everything beautiful and everything perfect.
